MRST Fundamentals Camp

June 22-27, 2020

Location: Timberline Ski Area

This 6 Day camp focuses on GS and Slalom Fundamentals. Open to incoming U14 & older athletes. Non-MRST athletes are welcome to attend.

The Fundamentals Camp focuses on GS and SL technical fundamentals through drill-intense skiing and gate training. Each segment will work through a discipline-specific progression and is the foundation for the MRST SL Camp. U14 athletes will begin their 2021 Season Journal that includes athlete notes & video from coaches. Journaling will document successful moments and points of improvement over the season and camps. Afternoon dryland will consist of either a PT activity or classroom session (Ski- tuning/prep, Physical Fitness/lift technique, Goal Setting/Mental habits) 4 days GS, 2 days SL.

Due to the Oregon Department of Health restrictions, MRST will only be able to offer this camp as a “day camp”. This means lodging, meals, and transportation will not be offered. Families must arrange for independent lodging, meals, and transportation for athletes. Athletes will meet coaches each morning for on-snow training and again in the afternoon for dry-land training. The updated price information reflects these changes.

Registration is open.
