2019 Double Diamond Hampton Cup

Race Run – Skookum. Race is accessed by Chair 3 or Chair 4.
Ages: U14, U16, U19, U21 and SR
Team Captain’s Meeting: 7:00 pm Friday, February 1st at the Coast Wenatchee Hotel (9th Floor). Additional coaches meetings will be called as needed throughout the weekend.
Bibs: Issued each morning at registration by team. Please have 1 coach pick up the bibs and distribute to your team. Athletes will turn bibs in at the finish area after their second run each day. Those not taking a second run may leave their bib at the scoreboard after the 1st run.
Pre-Race Registration: Enter online at ussa.org. To use the USSA system: Log into your MY USSA account. Under Tools, click on Athlete Event Registration. Fill out Search Competitions. Scroll to your event. Click Attend for each day you will be racing. Traditional mail in entry using USSA race entry form also accepted.
Entry Deadline: Friday, January 25th (Entries Received, Not Postmarked). There is a $5 per day late fee for entries received after that date. On line registration closes Tues. Jan. 30 at midnight. Absolutely NO phone, FAX, or e-mail entries accepted, unless done as a team entry. NO Day of Race Entries Accepted. Refunds will be given if entry is cancelled 24 hours in advance of the first race start. Refunds for online entries will incur a $5 fee to cover administrative and credit card fees charged by the site.
Entry Fee: $50.00 per race. If entering by mail, make payment to MRSEF and include with USSA entry card. Entries received without payment will be considered late entries. Mail entries to: MRSEF Race Administrator, 25 N Wenatchee Ave. Suite 112, Wenatchee, WA 98801
Lifts: $45 for competitors, purchase at Mission Ridge Ticket Kiosk. Checks, cash, or credit card accepted. Do not send lift ticket money with registration. Elite Pass tickets will be available at Mission Ridge ticket office. The Mission Ridge ticket office opens at 7:30am for racers and 8am for parents. All competitors without an Elite Pass must purchase a competitor ticket, no other discounts apply. Cash, checks, and credit card accepted.
Waivers: All athletes must complete the MRSSA Competition Waiver. A link to this waiver is provided on the Mission Ridge Ski Team race registration page.
Bib Deposit: $50 charge per lost or damaged bib.
Early Lift for Competitors: Lift opens at 8:00 am for competitors and 9:00 am for parents.
Course Inspection: Course Inspection. 8:30 am – 9:15 am.
Course closed at 9:15am
1st forerunner at 9:20am.
Awards: Presented 30 minutes after each day’s races at the awards podium in the base area. 1st – 3rd place awards in Categories 1 – 5. Overall M/F for each day, Overall male & female for the weekend, plus a team award will be presented Sunday after the day’s individual awards. Awards not claimed will be forfeited.
Race Volunteers: Anyone interested in volunteering to gate keep on race day can check in at registration. Volunteers receive a ticket for the day worked, plus one for an additional day of skiing during the 2018-2019 ski season. Lunch and beverages provided.
Gear Bags: The Mission Ridge Lodge is relatively small. Bags left under tables or anywhere on the floor of the lodge will be moved to lost and found. Please help us keep our lodge easy to navigate.
Lodging: The Coast Wenatchee Hotel – A block of rooms has been arranged for $106.00 + taxes (up to 4 people) per night with 6:30AM breakfast included. The Coast Wenatchee Hotel will have adequate tuning space available. Ask for the Mission Ridge – Hampton Cup room block and the dates of the race to receive the special rate. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel direct at 509-662-1234 or central reservations at 800-663-1144

HELMETS ARE REQUIRED
Please make parents and spectators aware that access to the finish arena requires the use of a lift or a 20 minute walk via the summer road behind the lodge. Mission Ridge does not allow foot traffic on its ski runs or lifts nor do we provide any form of transportation to the race arena. A Chair #1 only ticket is $30.
